Crosby gets conked!

The leagues most popular player gets sidelined for the second time in his pro career, the dangers of head shots is still a major problem in the NHL, with many players suffering from them. Crosby suffered the concussion on January 1, 2011 when David Steckel of the Washington Capitals hit him with a blind sided hit, Crosby returned later on in the game after team doctors cleared him of any medical issues. But just four days later Crosby was hit a second time in less than a week by Victor Hedman of the Tampa Bay lightning, and has not played since. The league has to do more to protect its players or more players will continue to suffer from head injuries that will effect them in the long run.
