Senators Eliminated

The Ottawa Senators looked like they were going to win game 6 as Matt Cullen got a nice pass from Alfredsson to make it 1-0. Then Neil and Alfredsson got a goal a short time after. Pittsburgh came back with a goal from matt cooke to make it 3-1. But in the 3rd period all was bad for Ottawa as Leclaire's stick broke, and pittsburgh scored to make it 3-2. Once again just as Ottawa looked like they were going to hang on Matt Cooke tied it sending it to overtime. As soon as ovrtime started Ottawa nearly ended it as a scramble in front of Fleury resulted in a Chris Neil shot almost went in. Ottawa had another chance to win as Jason Spezza took a shot on Fleury that was close. But it all cam to an end at 7:02 in OT when Jordan Staal was near Leclaire and was deking Chris Phillips, finally he spotted Vetran Pascal Dupuis and a perfect wrister beat Leclair to defeat Ottawa for the very last time this season.
